Ion Idea is a software firm based in Washington, USA. Their 3 acre campus , at Whitefield, Bangalore has been designed and executed
by Shibanee & Kamal Architects and Total Environment.

The scope of the project included help with sourcing land, obtaining sanctions, complete architectural and structural design and construction of the entire campus, including landscaping.

The main building rises upwards in the form of towers, while remaining structures such as security cabins, the electrical / generator rooms are completely earth covered and landscaped to merge with the surrounding. Three spacious courtyards provide natural ventilation and do away with the requirement for air-conditioning, except in the server rooms.

The building includes a board room, training rooms, server rooms, administration wing, work areas, cafetaria and service areas.
